Alex can play a maximum of 3 and a half hours of solo piano inclusive with a 15 minute break per hour. Repertoire consists mostly of jazz standards (compositions by Ellington, Gershwin, Porter as well as Thelonious Monk, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock etc..)
He can also play a set of familiar rock/pop tunes, eg. Beatles, Nirvana, Radiohead etc.. as well as four classical pieces.
Alex would be happy to learn one or two tunes specifically for your event providing firstly, that he is given at least a week or so notice, and secondly that the tunes requested would translate appropriately to solo piano. (I cannot play drum and bass on the piano but some reggae and punk songs work surprisingly well - try me !)
